Overview of Position:
The Project Coordinator is a critical role primarily providing support to Project Managers and Engineers; responsible for material procurement and tracking, liaison with the Global Supply Chain, and customer facing documentation delivery.
What you will do:
- Transpose material requests from a MS Excel spreadsheet to MS NAV.
- Interface with the Speedcast Global Supply Chain team for the procurement of materials.
- Maintain Project Materials worksheets in order to inform team members / Project Manager of material statuses.
- Responsible for packaging and transmittal of project documentation to customers via email/EDMS.
- Coordinates packaging and shipment of project materials.
- Works with internal resources to create internal part numbers.
- Sources compliancy information for project deliverable materials.
- Data entry; inclusive of field service work packs and tracking time sheet entries.
- Verify receipt of materials and provide project team status updates.
- Assist Project Managers with billing and invoicing
- Assist Project Managers with the creation of weekly status reports.
What we need from you:
- Associates, or equivalent experience in project support role.
- 1-3 years experience in project administration or coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Effective communication, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Quick critical thinking and ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize project requirements and escalate issues.
- Accuracy, punctuality, and exceptional multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
Even better if you have:
- 3-5 years Project Administration/Coordination experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision
- Experience with Electronic Data Management Systems (EMDS)
- Experience in material management and tracking
