Purpose

As a Downstream Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the adoption of our cutting-edge BVI portfolio across cataract, glaucoma, refractive, and retina surgery segments. Your role will involve driving the successful introduction of new products within your designated geographic area. Collaborating closely with Sales and Upstream Marketing teams, you will craft compelling value propositions, refine positioning strategies, and ignite promotional activities to captivate target markets. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the trajectory of our Global Marketing and Sales organization. Join us in revolutionizing the future of eye care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover the territories : UK / Ireland
  • Research and analyze the market, competitive dynamics, and local trends.
  • Develop and execute downstream marketing plan and tactics in collaboration with cross functional teams.
  • Define and implement launch strategy for the designed markets including any required localization of positioning & messaging to priority target segments.
  • Identify and manage relationships with local KOLs and societies.
  • Work with Field Sales team to ensure coordinated marketing communication.
  • Monitor, analyze and synthesize business performance trends.
  • Manages country Marketing budget.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, coupled with relevant experience within the sales, marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the medical devices sector (preferably ophthalmological industry).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Product launch experience is strongly preferred.
  • Drives change within the organization, adapting flexibly to evolving business dynamics.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (remote work for the rest of the time).
