Open Position: Product Manager

Reports to:  Group Product Manager

Location:  Remote

Responsibilities:
The Product Manager will report to a Group Product Manager, and work closely with a Senior Product Manager that owns a discrete line of products. Responsible for owning one of these products, the role will strike a balance between tactical roadmap delivery efforts and product strategy.

  • Become immersed in the company’s existing Agile software development
  • Lead product development, strategy, and redesign from ideation through development to market launch
    • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps
    • Prioritize the implementation of new features, resolving bugs and manage expectations of timelines
    • Recommend present and future product enhancements to improve user experience by determining product specifications and requirements
    • Collaborate with Engineering to deliver functional solutions
    • Create support and training documents for internal and external users
    • Liaise with the Marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products
    • Monitor and report on post-launch product KPIs
    • Gather product data, including key statistics and user trends
  • Owns a product roadmap, making compelling decisions about the value proposition of features and enhancements in an effort to prioritize that roadmap to solve user problems
  • Obtains product market share by working with Sales to develop product sales strategies
  • Support market and competitive differentiation efforts to identify opportunities and gaps in the market, then build and ship to address
  • Manage the quality of your product(s), including working with QA team member to guide our product releases to successful outcomes, and perform QA efforts when and where needed
  • Be an owner of the product(s): Maintain knowledge of how the product(s) are being implemented, trained, sold, marketed to ensure support to the various teams of keeping the product vision intact

Qualifications:
  • Has 4+ years of experience and a stellar track record building and shipping successful products to the market.
  • Experience working in a high-growth healthcare SaaS environment or as a consultant considered an asset.
  • Experience drafting Product Requirements Documents, as well as familiarity with market research and marketing techniques.
  • Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Has the ability to navigate ambiguity; can turn a blank sheet of paper or raw data into actionable plans and requirements.
  • Innately curious and collaborative; can build navigate cross-functional relationships that foster team-driven outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with web and mobile technologies.
  • BS or MS in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a field tied to healthcare.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Working knowledge in project management tools such as the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) and Pendo.
  • Experience in SQL is a plus.
