Position Responsibilities
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Product Manager with a strong background in software development. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in SDLC, Software Architecture, APIs, Security, QA, AI, and UI/UX principles, and be able to communicate effectively with engineers and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate identifies innovation opportunities, monitors industry trends to suggest technological improvements, and creates wireframe visualizations, all aimed at enhancing the user experience in collaboration with the UX team.
The Technical Product Manager should be capable of translating business requirements into complete technological solutions, owning a roadmap, participating in technical discussions, and overseeing features and tasks implementation.
This role will involve producing and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge sharing, maintaining KB articles, preparing use instructions and demos, and collaborating with external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Technical Projects: Oversee technical projects, coordinating with both internal and external teams across various technological ecosystems.
- Innovation: Identify new opportunities for product and process improvements, championing innovative solutions.
- Develop and Manage Roadmaps: Create, manage, and take ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Requirement Gathering: Collect requirements and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define goals, design workflows, and develop implementation plans.
- User Research: Conduct market research and gather feedback from users to inform product decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external PMOs, Engineering, DevOps, QA, and UX teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Feature and Task Creation: Work within Azure DevOps to create features and tasks, ensuring clear and structured progress tracking.
- Wireframe Design: Design and create visual wireframes, collaborating with the UX team to guide development and ensure user-friendly interfaces.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation, including KB articles, use instructions, and demos.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of third-party services and products.
- Project Management: Ensure projects adhere to set timelines and quality standards.
- Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the development team works on the most valuable features.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product plans, progress, and decisions to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager or a similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Software Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development practices and the ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers.
- Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Technical Documentation: Ability to read, understand, and apply technical documentation and integration instructions.
- Collaboration: Proven track record of collaborating with various teams and vendors to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Background: Engineering experience in the software development field is preferred. This position will not require coding, but the candidate is expected to understand software development principles, terminology, and methodologies.
- UI/UX Expertise: Proficiency in UI/UX principles and design practices. The candidate is expected to advocate for user experience, collaborate with the UX team, and continuously improve product UX/UI. Ability to work with visualization and prototyping software is a plus.
- AI Technologies: Experience with AI technologies and their practical applications in product development.
- Security Principles: Knowledge of security principles related to software development and integration.
- Cloud Architecture: Experience with cloud architecture and microservices.
