IT CMMC Project Lead

US Remote

12 month contract

 

The IT Project Lead for the US Compliance Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), in coordination with the Compliance CMMC Program Manager, is responsible for leading the IT components of: architectural build and technical implementation to support the US compliance - CMMC project. This critical role will be the connector between IT technical teams, US Compliance, and the CMMC partner in support of this project certification for impacted US sites.

 

Responsibilities:

The role will be directly responsible for the following:

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Coordinate with the Controlled Information Workgroup (CIW) and Program Manager to implement required IT components and activity in support of the overall CMMC compliance program.
  • Support the CMMC implementation strategy in conjunction with the CMMC Program
  • Support communications and technical IT documentation in conjunction with the CMMC program.
  • Lead embedding and implementing new policies, procedures, and work activities with the IT organization including ensuring these documents are understood and accepted within the impacted business sites.
  • Integrate the information security requirements within existing business activities with specific focus on IT and cyber controls, but not limited to as support is required for the entire program.
  • Provide hands on and proactive support to sites as they implement the IT and cyber controls within the CMMC information security Offer guidance, insight, and direction for implementation.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise key IT resources to influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study
  • Project/Programme Management Certification (Prince, IPMA, PMP, PgMP)
  • Excellent Project and Programme Management skills and a proven track record of successful project and programme delivery
  • Great Stakeholder management, communication, people management and leadership skills
Qualifications and Experience Preferred:
  • Prior experience implementing controls or managing product subject to regulatory oversight in any capacity g., medical, aerospace, nuclear, munitions, space, phar- maceutical, automotive, and services.
  • Prior audit and recordkeeping activity
  • Experience working in a controlled Manufacturing environment g., Aerospace/ Defense
Additional notes:
  • US Person status required
  • Work from home role
  • Eastern US time-zone preferred
  • Some travel (domestic US) will be required: 25-35%
