As a Technical Writer at TradeTracker.com, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation that supports our products and services. You will be a member of the main product development team, reporting to the Head of Product, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Creation
- Develop and maintain various types of documentation including tooltips, quick start guides, manuals, help sections, API documentation, release notes, FAQs, walkthroughs, in-app messaging, product tours, and knowledge bases.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand.
- User Assistance
- Provide clear and concise documentation to assist users in effectively utilizing our products.
- Break down complex concepts into simple, user-friendly instructions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Quality Assurance
- Regularly review and update documentation to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Conduct audits and incorporate feedback from users and internal teams.
Required Skillset:Â
To excel in this role, you need a combination of experience, technical knowledge, and communication skills.
- Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with SaaS platforms.
- Good understanding of SaaS platforms, including their interfaces, functionalities, and user interactions.
- Writing Skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across all documentation.
- Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with creating various types of technical documentation.
- Knowledge of documentation tools and methodologies commonly used in the industry.
