The Role 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Drive Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract new customers across multiple channels including digital marketing, partnerships, social media, and events.
  • Optimize Customer Activation: Create and implement onboarding processes that ensure new users quickly understand and experience the value of Leona, driving early engagement and satisfaction. 
  • Enhance User Engagement: Design and launch campaigns to keep users engaged and active, using data-driven insights to tailor communications and interventions. Determine the natural frequency and usage of the product and manufacture triggers to ensure such frequency.
  • Execute Growth Experiments:  Identify growth hypotheses and conduct experiments to test and validate them, using A/B testing and analytics to drive decisions.
  • Collaborate on Product Development: Work closely with the CEO and product team to gather user feedback and translate it into actionable product improvements.
  • Measure and Analyze Performance: Set clear metrics and KPIs for growth initiatives, continuously track performance, and use data to refine strategies and optimize results.
  • Craft Brand Messaging: Define and communicate our brand’s unique value proposition, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels.
  • Foster Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that can drive growth, including collaborations with influencers, schools, and other relevant organizations.
  • Content Strategy: Oversee content creation efforts to ensure alignment with growth goals, including blog posts, social media content, and other marketing materials.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Embrace the fast-paced, dynamic nature of a startup environment by taking on various roles as needed and continuously seeking new ways to drive growth.

  • Dedication: If you prefer 9-5 environments, this role is not for you. While there is no strict ‘clocking in/clocking out’ schedule, the aggressive growth goals require the team to work more than 8 hours a day 
  • Flexibility: The team is very flexible to changing schedules and are very accommodating to any circumstances you may have 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, healthcare management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience, preferably in an early-stage D2C startup (healthcare and/or LATAM experience is a plus) 
  • Growth experience (1-2 years) in a pre-seed to Series A startup 
  • Willingness to travel at least once a month to Mexico for a minimum of a week, with longer stays encouraged 
  • Complete fluency in Spanish 
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva) and a strong grasp of social media platforms 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
