Position:

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to become a part of our team.

Tech stack: Oracle DB, MS SQL, FNT, CI/CD.

Requirements

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Collecting requirements for data management team;
• Writing technical documentation in German;
• Enhancing the data model;
• Automating the existing manual processes and developing the new data pipelines (FNT StagingArea - primary ETL tool, FNT Command and underlined Oracle DB - primary data platform). The FNT staging area tool has a built-in graphical editor, so it does not require code to be written (apart from SQL queries).
• Enhancing the development process (improving CI/CD process, introducing best practices of using Jira and Confluence,)
  

We expect from you:

• Good knowledge of SQL;
• Possibility to work one day on-site (Königsbrunn);
• Experience in maintaining the databases (Oracle, MS SQL);
• Knowledge and experience in Data Modelling and ETL concepts (There are some legacy databases which have invalid structure and data quality issues. The candidate should be able to propose a better data model and support the migration team);
• Solid knowledge of the German language (project communication, documentation, data, and software are in German);
• English level Upper-Intermediate/B2 and higher.
