Job Summary
The Digital Solutions Field Sales Representative will be responsible for building relationships and profitable sales growth with Direct Utilities, Cooperatives, Municipalities, EPCs, Power Integrators and Distribution sales channels within their assigned sales territory. They will scale new Southwire opportunities for the Digital Solutions and Services segment incubated and identified by Southwire’s commercial team and manufacturer’s representatives. This individual will be responsible for managing their sales pipeline and working closely with the agent sales force, product development, channel partners, and key customer stakeholders to identify, cultivate, and close digital service opportunities.
Key Job Responsibilities
Strategically develop customer targets and plan to execute sales goals via agent sales force, channel partners, or direct.
· Ability to demonstrate software solutions to technical and functional leaders within customer base
· Build effective customer relationships with utilities and OEM channel partners
· Identify and cultivate sales opportunities to drive Southwire Services within the utility market
· Effectively utilize Salesforce or other CRM software to track project opportunities and success.
· Create a solution driven, leadership persona both internally and externally while collaborating with other functions within the corporation and customer organization.
· Effectively build tailored solution demonstrations and proposals based on customer requirements
· Perform other duties as assigned by sales leadership.
