Responsibilities:

• Offer technical expertise in terms of performance, resilience, compliance and security of software products and orchestration pipelines
• Design, develop, maintain, improve and test new software products that will achieve high performing automation and orchestration capabilities
• Participate in every aspect of development and implementation, working with various technical and non-technical teams to fully understand business requirements
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analysing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Guide and support other software engineers to ensure the right technology and design decisions are made and help grow their knowledge
• Lead a team of developers and create a culture of learning, enabling the engineers in the team to achieve both their operational goals, as well as personal development goals
• Define, create and follow up on individual & teams objectives, aligned with the business strategy and the products roadmaps
• Discuss with the Product Owner to define the implementation with the best value/effort ratio
• Ensure that the best practices are in place and promotes new ones

Technical Skills:

• Strong Java language skills
• Spring/Spring Boot framework familiarity
• Good knowledge of Microservices concepts and patterns
• Good knowledge of REST API concepts and ApiGee
• Messaging and event-based systems (Solace or RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ or Kafka)
• Knowledge of relational (Postgres) and non-relational (Redis, BigQuery) database
• Git source control system hands-on experience
• Scalability experience
• DevOps knowledge is a plus
• Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform is a plus

Other Skills:

• Familiar with Agile methodology (2+ years experience working in an Agile team)
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English. French is a plus.
