Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Betting Industry Operations Specialist with a passion for sports to join our growing team. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports betting landscape, particularly American sports such as NFL, NBA, and MLB. You will be responsible managing our website in order to attract and retain customers, drive brand awareness, as well as ensuring the day to day running of the site.

Responsibilities:


Develop and implement a comprehensive site strategy that aligns with the overall marketing goals of the betting platform.
Ensure that the website is always setup to sell the key sport propositions at all times of the day.
Manage content production schedules and deadlines efficiently.
Work collaboratively with editors, designers, and marketing teams to ensure content consistency and quality.
Ensure that the website is working correctly, through reports, alerting and BAU testing.
Key contact for technical support teams - to find and raise bugs and also support in both the fixes and investigations. This would be for both the Live and Test environments
Limit/market liability management, work within a structured liability process. Ensure that these limits are not broken through price and market management.
2nd line support for all customer queries regarding the sports product. Becoming a product expert as part of the process
Stay up-to-date on the latest sports betting news, regulations, and industry trends to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Responsible for leading and managing the team.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a content writer or editor, preferably within the sports betting industry or a related field (e.g., sports journalism, digital marketing).
Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that drives traffic and conversions.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
A deep understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Strong research skills and the ability to gather and analyze information from various sources.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
Passion for sports and a good understanding of major leagues, teams, and sports betting culture.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A creative and results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
