Job description

An exciting job role has recently become available at the Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for a new member for their Safeguarding Triage Team.

Requirements: 

  • Experience in adult social care, particularly in safeguarding and triage roles, is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and making informed decisions based on those assessments.
  • Understandings of safeguarding adults procedures and the ability to apply them in practice.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
