Job Description

Position Summary

This role will be responsible to set the Product and Communications Strategy for the Electrical segment, part of the Concrete Business Unit within the UK and Nordics. Working closely with the Segment lead, the ideal candidate will support on the strategic intent and execution of Sales & Marketing plans. They will be responsible for ensuring that our value propositions resonate with our customer base and enable the business to grow.

 

They will also take the lead for the Customer Back innovation process, to ensure a pipeline of developments are in place for the years ahead and protecting the longer-term growth strategy of the business segment.

 

In addition, they are responsible for the Communications strategy of the segment using appropriate channels to influence the key decision makers in the industry to understand and engage with the value propositions of our brand.

 

All the above is aimed to towards to ultimate goal to grow market share within the electrical market and maintain growth above our competitors.

 

Primary responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the Marketing Strategy of the Spit Brand within the electrical market.
  • Product Management – range, pricing, forecasting, website, PIM. Working with supply chain to support the business strategy.
  • Lead the Customer Back Innovation Process, to ensure the organisation is developing and maintaining a pipeline of new products. Addressing changing workplace legislations, whilst providing long term, sustainable growth for the segment.
  • Line management of the communication team, ensuring the right execution of the strategic communication for the Concrete Business Unit in the UK and Nordics Markets.
  • Devise and be responsible for the delivery of the Communications Strategy. Targeting key decision makers, with full control over budget and forecasting for the segment.
  • Grow the SPIT Brand and raise awareness within its chosen markets.
  • Lead the team for Communications, design and digital needs of the brand, whilst ensuring adequate support the Interiors segment from this resource.
  • Developing opportunities with key channel partners. Driving initiatives and collaborative working practices.
  • Develop key metrics to measure the success of the Marketing Strategy
  • Be an integral part Concrete Management team, engaging and contributing with all areas of the business unit.

Qualifications
  • A track record of delivering impactful change in an organisation through implementation of a strategic plan
  • Experience of Sales & Marketing across multi – channels
  • Analytical skills and ability to research and evaluate information, to drive business decisions from market insights.
  • Great communication skills with a track record in influencing key stakeholders, to get results
  • Ability to be able to work with different Marketing channels to ensure external and internal partners are clear on the business’s value propositions
  • Culturally aware to navigate within multiple markets.
  • Line management experience preferred but not essential.
  • Ensuring the Health & Safety of yourself and others in work environment.
  • Take ownership of training and personal development needs
  • Flexibility to travel
