Position Summary:
The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administrator will be responsible for the process of managing and maintaining the SAP BTP platform, utilizing the SAP BTP Cockpit and other tools to ensure that the platform is running smoothly and securely. Practical skills with solid hands-on real-world experience are a must for this role/candidate.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible to administering connectivity, usage analysis and security surrounding the Business Technology Platform (BTP) systems, services, and tenants.
Responsible to monitor errors, performance and availability, as well as checking to ensure that the costs and resource usage are within the purchased entitlements and quotas
Efficiently manage processes and workflows, configuration and adaptation of applications, and security measures of the system
Integration and support with our S4 SAP landscape
Provide support in resolving incidents involved in this technology, across the enterprise.
Work closely with our S4 IT team, in collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop successful business and technical requirements for successful connections
Establish trust relationships between the communication partners, the ABAP environment (S4) and SAP Cloud systems, tenants and configure those destinations on SAP BTP
Managing and monitoring SAP BTP applications, understanding the architecture of the SAP cloud platform, and using administrative tools and services
Managing databases, storage, and users, as well as configuring and managing application deployment environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues
Understand SAP BTP security, including user authentication and authorization. Requires extensive understanding of SAP BTP, its functions, capabilities and how to effectively administer and operate applications on the BTP platform
Knowledge of creating and maintaining a trust relationship between the subaccount and the identity provider
Create BTP roles and role collections, ensure user authentication, and assign authorization information to users and user groups

QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
Required Experience: 10 Years +
10 years of SAP technical experience. Prior experience in SAP Basis and/or PI/XI or other similar
experience.
Must have 3 years’ experience as a BTP Administrator
