This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a part in driving Hilton's growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our portfolio! As a Director of Development, you will partner with owners and investors to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate and allow them to use our global expertise to develop one of the leading brands in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the VP Managing Development Director SW Region, you will focus on developing hotels within the Southwest United States and will be instrumental in closing deals within the region.

How You Will Make An Impact

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like
- Grow relationships with existing and new owners, important players in the Hotel and Real Estate Industry (consultants, asset managers, hotel operators, architects, interior designers, counsels, investors, bankers, and real estate brokers, amongst others), and local decision-making authorities to generate leads which conform to agreed strategies and standards to identify development opportunities for growth.
- Formulate and deploy a diverse network of contacts and help build our capability in assembling and evaluating quality market intelligence in all of its forms to find opportunities and aid decision-making on whether opportunities should be pursued.
- Help evaluate the industry landscape and creation of standards to ensure Hilton remains an industry leader offering a world-class product. Contribute ideas and suggestions throughout the business including design, operations, legal, technology, etc.
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- Work with advisors to complete deals following agreed priorities, and Hilton standards and conformity with corporate approvals. Negotiations should be conducted to secure integrative gains.
- Work with all required internal partners to ensure that all internal deal procedures and protocols are adhered to and all legislative requirements are met, working with the Legal team when necessary, thus ensuring that the reputation of Hilton is protected, and we always operate legally and ethically.
What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of
- Review markets to identify previously unknown opportunities, researching the activity of real estate developers and/or our competitors (whilst adhering to Corporate Policy) to identify future opportunities that we may legitimately pursue.
- Negotiate both franchise and management agreements. Complete the required documentation and present deals to Franchise and/or Managed Committee for approval.

You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) years of Hospitality, Franchise, and/or Real Estate Sales
- Three (3) years of B2B Client Management/Sales Experience
- Travel up to 70%
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree; MA/MS Master's Degree
- Eight (8) years of hotel franchise sales
