The E- commerce Manager is a strategic and analytical professional responsible for

overseeing all aspects of the company’s website operations. This role involves managing

website merchandising, driving conversion rate optimisation (CRO), ensuring a

seamless and engaging online shopping experience, and overseeing integrations with

various digital marketing channels.

The E-commerce Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that

enhance the performance and functionality of the website, align with our brand’s

innovative approach to fashion, and meet business objectives. They will work closely

with cross-functional teams to optimise the user experience, drive online sales, and

ensure seamless integration with digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Website Merchandising: The E-commerce Manager oversees the presentation of products on the website, ensuring they are displayed effectively to maximise sales and align with brand aesthetics.

  2. CRO Optimisation: The E-commerce Manager drives conversion rate optimisation strategies, conducting A/B testing, analysing user behaviour, and implementing changes to improve conversion rates and overall site performance.

  3. User Experience (UX) Enhancement: The E-commerce Manager works to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience, identifying and addressing any issues that may hinder the customer journey.

  4. Data Analysis and Reporting: The E-commerce Manager analyses website performance metrics, generates reports, and uses data-driven insights to inform strategy and make informed decisions.

  5. Campaign Coordination: The E-commerce Manager collaborates with the marketing team to align website content and promotions with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  6. Platform Management: The E-commerce Manager manages the e-commerce platform, ensuring it is up-to-date, secure, and optimised for performance.

  7. Inventory and Order Management: The E-commerce Manager monitors inventory levels and ensures accurate order processing, working closely with the logistics team to maintain efficient operations.

  8. SEO and Content Strategy: The E-commerce Manager implements SEO best practices and collaborates with content creators to ensure the website is optimised for search engines and provides valuable content to users.

  9. Customer Feedback Integration: The E-commerce Manager gathers and analyses customer feedback to continually improve the website and address customer needs and preferences.

  10. Digital Marketing Integration: The E-commerce Manager oversees the seamless integration of the website with various digital marketing channels, ensuring cohesive and effective online marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and technologies.

  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRO methodologies.

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing principles.
