Job Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven General Supply Chain Manager to oversee all aspects of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the company's supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and track the effectiveness of supply chain processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable sources of supply and favorable terms and conditions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the supply chain and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and social responsibility initiatives in the supply chain.
