Senior Functional Consultant, SAP FASHION Retail

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FASHION Retail modules.
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FASHION modules from the “Buyers” perspective, including the planning, design, sampling, costing, customer PO generation, goods receiving and billing.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
• Design, customize, configure and test the SAP IS-Retail module
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
• Open to travel (50-100%)

• At least 5-8 years of work experience in relevant retail consulting services engagements or business environments, implementing or using SAP retail business processes and applications, including SAP fashion modules from a retail perspective.
• Experience with SAP fashion retail in areas such as planning, merchandising, rebates, pricing, promotions, and retail store operations.
• Expertise in Retail Financials, Logistics, PLM, and supply chain is an added advantage.
• Good customizing and configuration skills in SAP IS Retail as well as SAP SD, with experience in SAP MM being an added advantage.
• Experience with setting up release procedures for PR and PO, master data, assortments, listings, merchandise distribution processes, pricing procedures, and purchasing cycles.
• Ability to support all stages of an SAP fashion retail implementation project, with a profound understanding of Fashion Retail business processes and integration points with the SD, MM, and FI/CO modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the team and with clients.
