Senior Audit Associate, Audit & Attestation
SF Bay Area Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 DOE; Offered compensation will be adjusted for remote employees, based on the cost of living and market rate in their area of residence. 

The Audit & Attestation Division is looking for a dedicated Senior Audit Associate with a minimum of two (2) years of experience. This position provides room for advancement and growth in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

 Senior Audit Associates at our firm . . . 
•    Prepare financial statements with disclosures, applying basic areas of GAAP as needed and documenting; validating, testing and assessing various control systems; 
•    Utilize their knowledge of GAAS principles and apply them to engagements; 
•    Develop and apply their knowledge of auditing theory to various client situations; 
•    Complete all appropriate documentation of work papers;
•    Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
•    Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure the successful completion of engagements;
•    Research accounting topics and form initial opinions; and
•    Participate in business development and networking opportunities. 


To make it as part of our team, Senior Audit Associate candidates should have . . . 
•    2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on external audit and assurance services;
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 
•    Strong knowledge of accounting controls and professional standards and regulations (GAAP, GAAS etc); 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement;
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and support;
•    Ability to communicate effectively in English – both verbally and in writing; and 
•    Be willing and able to travel within the greater San Francisco Bay Area for client fieldwork or other business-related needs, as necessary.
