Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Specialist to produce high-quality content that drives engagement, educates, and resonates with our clients’ target audiences. As a Content Specialist at Maseo, you will be responsible for developing, editing, and optimising various forms of content, including blog posts, social media content, website copy, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and produce a wide range of content types, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, website copy, and more, adhering to client goals and brand guidelines.
  • SEO Integration: Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to clients’ websites.
  • Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, client products or services, and target audience preferences.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Ensure content is free from errors, is consistent in style and tone, and aligns with best practices.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the team to create content strategies and editorial calendars to meet client objectives.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to gather information, understand their content needs, and provide content solutions that align with their goals.
  • Performance Analysis: Track content performance through analytics and adapt strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in content creation and digital marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
