Automation Engineer [Powershell] (Romania, EMEA)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in designing, implementing, documenting, and troubleshooting PowerShell-based automation tools. This role focuses on enhancing system functionality and ensuring interoperability within our infrastructure. 

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of PowerShell, REST API clients, and cloud-native services, particularly queue and job engines. Knowledge of SaaS email and backup technologies, and Microsoft services, is crucial. You should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

Work Arrangement 

• Full-time position  

• Remote work model  

• Monday to Friday, 5-day work week (flexible work schedule)  

• Eligible to reside and work in Romania 

Key Accountabilities 

• Design & Implementation: Develop, design, and implement PowerShell-based automation tools to improve system efficiency and functionality. 

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation tools, processes, and best practices. 

• 3rd Level Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex issues related to PowerShell automation and related technologies. 

• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of automation tools with existing systems and services, focusing on enhancing interoperability. 

• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team and coordinate with other departments to align automation efforts with organizational goals. 

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually enhance system capabilities and automation processes. 

Qualifications and Competencies 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successful automation tool development and system integration. 

• PowerShell Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing PowerShell-based automation tools. 

• REST API Client Knowledge: Strong understanding and practical experience with REST API clients for integrating various services and systems. 

• Cloud-Native Services: Demonstrated knowledge of cloud-native services, particularly queue and job engines. 

• SaaS Technologies: In-depth experience with SaaS platforms, specifically web service structures and Microsoft technologies. 

• AWS CLI (Preferred): Familiarity with AWS CLI is a plus, demonstrating versatility and adaptability. 

• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively. 

• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment
