THE ROLE

We are looking out for a Senior Mobile Engineer who is passionate about building a best in class mobile application.

Ideally based in Warsaw, Poland, you will be working in Product squads with a fun culture whilst building best in class product. We're on the lookout for a true expert who will actively contribute to design discussions and confidently take charge of designing and implementing key components of our mobile app, preferably cross framework. 

Someone who possesses a deep understanding of modern mobile application development frameworks, best practices in software engineering, and looks forward to sharing knowledge and trialling new approaches, tools and frameworks. 

This is a global role and requires working across different time zones. Flexibility is essential as you navigate between Australian and European time zones, occasionally requiring early mornings and late-night meetings. While adjusting to different time zones might be necessary, rest assured, we're dedicated to creating an environment where your commitment is cherished and your well-being matters.

Where You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Developing new features for our mobile applications using the latest technologies, architectures, and best practices.
  • Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code that ensures seamless functionality across devices.
  • Integrating observability and monitoring tools to guarantee the reliability and performance of our mobile apps.
  • Advocating for coding standards and identifying opportunities for improvement in our development processes.
  • Mentoring team members, supporting their growth in mobile development skills and knowledge.
  • Communicating complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.

The Essentials:

  • 4+ years experience developing native Android apps (and/or iOS), in commercial application development for mid-sized software/product company in the digital/SaaS space
  • Proficiency with Android SDKs and iOS SDKs as well as up-to-date with most modern Android / iOS development practices
  • Kotlin and/or Swift commercial experience is required
  • A passion for learning new languages, frameworks and tools. Actively develop skills and experience through continual learning and evaluation.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, demonstrating acute troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience in Agile and Lean development practices
  • Fluent English (B2/C1)
