General Counsel

TalenTailors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Counsel to join our customer`s team. As the General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the company on a wide range of matters.

Our client belongs to the Top50 Web3 Companies based on their Market Cap and is expecting further growth. The COO (Europe-based) is looking for a Legal counterpart who will be qualified to act as General Counsel and oversee a legal team of two. The idea is to work together for approximately one week/month in New York and remotely for the rest of the time. The ideal candidate is US-based, provides relevant experience in a comparable role, and is keen to take over responsibility.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, preferably as in-house counsel
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and intellectual property
• Experience with technology and/or software companies is a plus
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to mitigate legal risks and protect company interests
• High ethical standards and integrity
