Job description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This role is focused on selling our services to clients in the architecture and engineering industries. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and providing solutions that meet their requirements. Additionally, they will collaborate with our engineering and design teams to develop customized solutions and drive business growth.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Attend discovery calls with clients to gather and analyze technical requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs while explaining how our service and model aligns with their requirements and secure their business.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and market segments.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize sales processes, enhance customer experience, and meet customer needs.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and provide personalized solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of our products and services.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with clients, promote our service, and generate leads.

Technical Consultation and Solution Development:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and design teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and bids for clients.

Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify emerging customer needs, technological advancements, and competitive threats.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role: 3-5 years
  • Academic Training and/or Knowledge of the Architecture and Engineering industries, trends, softwares, project workflows and more etc.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. Fluent English required
  • Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Technical expertise in relevant products and services
  • Market intelligence and competitor analysis capabilities
