Senior Internal Auditor

Location: Remote - Manila, Philippines. This role can be performed anywhere from the Philippines.

GoPro is seeking a top-tier Senior Internal Auditor to join our global Internal Audit team. This position will have the unique opportunity to participate in all aspects of Internal Audit activities, including our SOX compliance program (both financial reporting and ITGC) and Internal Audit projects (operational and compliance reviews). Reporting directly to the Internal Audit and SOX Manager, this position offers frequent interaction and visibility with management across the company and is an exciting opportunity with great career growth potential.

 What You Will Do

• Assist in executing all aspects of the SOX compliance audit program, including planning, risk assessment, tests of design and operating effectiveness, evaluate audit findings, coordinate remediation of deficiencies, and assist with management reporting for both financial reporting and ITGCs.
• Evaluate updates in processes and/or systems to determine relevance and impact on the SOX program
• Assist management with annual audit plan development and fraud risk mapping and mitigation procedures
• Lead the quarterly SOX certification process with process owners to ensure documentation is current in our GRC solution
• Play a key role in fostering relationships by establishing a culture of trust and cooperation with process owners to achieve a common goal of maintaining an effective internal control environment and supporting continuous business improvement
• Support and execute operational audits and internal audit projects at the direction of Internal Audit Management as needed
• Assist with external audit requests in a timely fashion

Skills We’re Excited About

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Internal Audit or related field is required 
• 3-5 years of internal audit experience, preferably with a retail focused company
• Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and applicable PCAOB auditing standards
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IT General and Application controls, including the ISO 27001, COBIT 5, and NIST frameworks
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities & deadlines
• Team player who works well with others and can meet deliverable expectations consistently

Bonus Points For

• CPA, CIA, and/or CISA certification(s)
• Big 4 audit experience
