Job Summary:
Vice President (VP) of Product Marketing owns the alignment across product, marketing, and sales organization, and executes enterprise go-to-market strategy across many use cases, products, verticals and GEOs that Socure serves. Craft a brilliant, differentiated Socure narrative that aligns to customer needs and market opportunity, and see its adoption across marketing programs, partner channels and sales conversations. The successful candidate will be extremely organized, able to cut through the noise and drive programs that drastically improve awareness, pipeline, and bookings. Act as an energetic leader-practitioner, scaling the product marketing team’s efforts to execute in high-velocity, innovative business.
Job Duties:
- Narrative: As an exemplary storyteller, seamlessly translate the most complex technology and derive the customer-focused story and metrics that set the products apart. This work reflects in marketing materials, sales enablement assets, channel communication, analyst and media congrats
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs and market trends. Translate insights into actionable strategies that inform product development, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns.
- Product delivery: Develop and implement the high standard for the product delivery execution, starting at market research and product discovery, through MVP, product launch, and product adoption. Utilize a set of tools that align the company’s and the team’s efforts around the drumbeat of product and technology updates and rollouts, that accelerate the demand and the pipeline
- Pricing and packaging: Thoroughly assess both the existing use cases and growth opportunities for customers and prospects to compose product packages and pricing strategy that drive sales and improve the margins
- Competitive analysis: Roll out scalable, deep competitive program to stay on top of competitive offering, own the knowledge sharing across the customer-facing teams
- Demand generation and conversion: Closely partner with growth and revenue marketing teams to collaborate on demand generation and conversion campaigns that drive pipeline, bookings and revenue growth
- Voice of Customer: Ensure that the team has intimate understanding of the customer and the buyer journey, sourced through multiple data systems, sales conversations and customer calls. Help craft marketing outreach and ABM program around buyer journey milestones and buyer personas
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the VP of Sales Enablement on designing the best-in-class sales enablement, onboarding and acceleration program, that increase deal velocity and promote solution selling. Monitor and optimize success metrics.
- Customer marketing: Ensure customer successes are captured and built into the larger narrative. Build customer stories through case studies, POC results, and relationships
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12+ years in product marketing within the enterprise SaaS industry, strong preference for industry experience in fraud protection, identity verification, or digital customer acquisition in FinTech
- 5+ years of direct management experience and demonstrated ability to nurture talent
- An organization builder with experience setting up team infrastructure and processes that keep business objectives in mind
- Proven ability to navigate a high-growth maturing business and establish partnerships across the organization
- A strong presenter with the ability to command an audience and tell compelling stories both on a stage and through a technical whitepaper
- Exceptional leadership, team, and resource management skills
- Data-driven approach with the ability to set and deliver on success metrics and qualify improvements
- Ability to thrive and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-growth remote environment
- Working knowledge of AI practices and enterprise FinTech stack
