Job description

Consistently create and deliver well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development.
Code custom WordPress features in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 and work on previously developed custom features and themes.
Maintain and manage several WordPress websites, serving as the technical liaison to a managed WordPress host.
Maintain and manage our global employee intranet in Azure and AWS.
Write secure code and respond quickly to security issues that may arise.
Comfortable working in staging and live environments.
Translate communication or design requests into high-quality and high-performing features.
Collaborate with designers to match visual intent and create intuitive user experiences.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Web Developer.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous web development projects.

Skills:

Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with back-end languages such as PHP, Ruby, Python, or Java.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Know-how of website development using low-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems, Mendix).
Cloud experience with providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
Knowledge of web security principles and best practices.
Experience with deploying and managing web applications in the cloud.
Certifications (optional but preferred):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
