Reporting To: Director of Marketing and PR
Purpose: The Business Development Assistant will support in achieving its business development goals. This includes engaging with potential clients, coordinating follow-ups, managing communications, assisting high-level executives, and supporting the recruitment process for our degree programs. The primary objective is to secure 30 paid candidates by the end of September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Email Communication:
o Send at least 50 emails per day (250 per week) to potential clients.
o Follow up on emails to ensure responses.
o Ask for referrals and identify suitable candidates for our degree programs.
2. Coordination and Follow-up:
o Coordinate and follow up on communications with potential clients.
o Track responses and update the CRM system accordingly.
o Ensure timely follow-ups to maintain engagement with potential clients.
3. Payment Follow-up:
o Follow up on pending payments with clients.
o Ensure all payments are processed and recorded accurately.
4. Invitation and Nomination Letters:
o Draft and send invitation letters for VISA applications.
o Draft and send nomination letters to potential candidates.
5. Executive Assistance:
o Assist high-level executives with questions related to our degree programs.
o Provide support in managing inquiries and applications.
6. Application Review:
o Review applications to ensure they meet the criteria for our degree programs.
o Ensure the quality of the applications is maintained.
o Check references and verify information provided in online applications.
Deliverables:
1. Weekly Email Outreach:
o A minimum of 250 emails sent to potential clients each week.
o Weekly report on email outreach, including responses and follow-ups.
2. Payment Tracking:
o Regular updates on payment follow-ups and status.
3. Letters:
o Invitation letters for VISA applications sent as needed.
o Nomination letters sent to potential candidates.
4. Application Review:
o Detailed reviews of applications to ensure they meet program criteria.
o Reference checks and verification of information in online applications.
5. Executive Support:
o Timely assistance provided to executives with program-related inquiries.
Weekly Goals:
· Week 1:
o Send 250 emails to potential clients.
o Follow up on at least 50% of the sent emails.
o Draft and send 5 invitation letters for VISA applications.
o Review 10 applications for degree programs, including checking references and verifying online application information.
· Week 2:
o Continue email outreach with 250 new emails.
o Follow up on remaining emails from Week 1.
o Send 5 nomination letters to potential candidates.
o Review an additional 10 applications for degree programs, including reference checks and verification.
· Week 3:
o Maintain email outreach with another 250 emails.
o Track and follow up on payments.
o Draft and send 5 more invitation letters for VISA applications.
o Review 10 more applications for degree programs, including reference checks and verification.
· Week 4:
o Keep up email outreach, sending another 250 emails.
o Follow up on all pending communications.
o Send another 5 nomination letters to potential candidates.
o Review 10 additional applications for degree programs, including reference checks and verification.
· Week 5:
o Repeat the email outreach with another 250 emails.
o Continue following up on communications and payments.
o Draft and send 5 invitation letters for VISA applications.
o Review 10 more applications, including reference checks and verification.
· Week 6:
o Maintain the email outreach, sending 250 new emails.
o Ensure follow-ups on all communications.
o Send another 5 nomination letters to potential candidates.
o Review 10 additional applications, including reference checks and verification.
· Week 7:
o Continue email outreach with 250 new emails.
o Follow up on all pending emails and communications.
o Track and ensure payment processing.
o Review another 10 applications, including reference checks and verification.
· Week 8:
o Send the final 250 emails to potential clients.
o Ensure all follow-ups and communications are completed.
o Finalize the review of 10 candidates , including reference checks and verification.
Prepare and submit a comprehensive report detailing the outreach efforts, responses, applications reviewed, and the number of paid candidates secured.
