Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing Manager to manage the digital marketing team and execute digital marketing initiatives for our portfolio ventures. The role of the Digital Marketing Manager would involve the following responsibilities:
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the management team to understand the vision and mission for digital marketing and sales.
- Executing keyword Research for different ventures and competitors of the company.
- Strategizing and executing SEO activities for different ventures of the company.
- Strategizing and executing Social Media Marketing for different ventures of the company.
- Executing Content marketing including PR Outreach for different ventures of the company.
- Executing Online prospect generation through different channels for different ventures of the company.
- Managing the team of executives, contractual employees, interns, freelancers and affiliate vendor companies.
- Any other activities required by the company.
Detailed Activities
- Marketing Strategy & Planning: Understanding the company’s ventures and their respective products and services. Analyzing the current state of the business along with its competitive positioning. Analyzing the target market and client personas in detail to strategize various online sales and marketing activities.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Activities: Researching target keywords of various ventures along with their respective competitors. Analyzing and monitoring SEO metrics such as Domain Authority, visits, conversions, backlinks, etc. including on-page and off-page SEO of the websites. Strategizing the SEO activities and carrying them out with the team. Ensuring high-end backlinking and ranking on search engines for relevant keywords.
- Social Media Marketing (SMM) Activities: Managing social media handles along with online reputation management for our ventures. Strategizing and executing social media activities such as social posts, sharing news, and increasing reach along with engagements.
- Content Marketing Activities: This would involve content creation and distribution of various content such as articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and images. Using article writing tools to create relevant and engaging content for our blogs as well as guest postings for other distribution sites. Optimizing content for SEO using strategies and tools. Engaging with other blogs, creating relationships, and distributing articles on their platform.
- PR Outreach Activities: Carry out PR outreach activities to get media coverage and media mentions. This includes researching bloggers, influencers, journalists, and media outlets and pitching for coverage.
- Prospecting and Email Marketing: Using prospecting tools to prospect potential clients and engage with them for the purpose of sales. This will involve cold emails and approaching potential clients through Linkedin and converting them to leads. Emailing existing leads and clients to re-engage with them.
- Must be able to come up with new strategies and activities to maximize reach and revenue for the organization.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Education: MBA or PGDM in Marketing (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of Digital Marketing Experience
