Job description

A rapidly growing company that specializes in HR consulting, benefits insurance, and payroll services is seeking a motivated Employee Benefit Consultant to join their team! They are looking for candidates with 2-5 years of B2B sales experience in Employment Benefits, strong networking and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This hybrid position requires at least two days per week in the Buffalo office, but they are also open to candidates in West Palm Beach County, Florida, where the role can be remote. Employee Benefits Consultant Requirements

  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience in Employment Benefits required
  • Experience in payroll and/or HR sales is a plus
  • Life agent and accident and health insurance (LAH) licenses required (training available)
  • Strong networking, communication, and CRM management skills
  • Ambitious, friendly, and capable of critical thinking independently

Employee Benefits Consultant Responsibilities

  • Engage in field and networking sales to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Keep CRM system (Brokerage Builder) up to date with prospect and client information
  • Understand and effectively communicate the benefits of company services, including HR consulting, benefits insurance, and payroll
  • Navigate varying sales cycles, from quick closes with smaller clients to longer engagements with larger organizations
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Network within the community and travel as needed for large accounts
