Job description

Our Higher Ed practice is looking for a motivated and experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical Developer with HCM or ERP experience . Implementation experience in the Higher Education field (such as a college or university) is strongly desired and may be required. This position is a full-time benefits-eligible position and is not a contractor role.

Sierra-Cedar helps Higher Education institutions – more than 350 of them – with the implementation of Oracle software.Our business-savvy Technical Developers are responsible for implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or ERP and maximizing the benefit of the Oracle software in which the client has invested.

At Sierra-Cedar, a Technical Developer has strong collaboration skills and uses these skills to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping them gain the optimum benefit from their Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or ERP system . You’ll provide hands-on technical design and development support for integration, reporting, extensions, and conversion activities within Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or ERP modules. Integration will typically involve Oracle Integration Cloud to Oracle HCM or ERP Fusion Cloud, including making REST and SOAP, FBDI/HDL File Uploads, and extracting data using Analytics/BI Publisher reports. You’ll also design and develop extensions using Visual Builder and Process Builder in Oracle Integration Cloud.

Our ideal Lead Developer has a Bachelor’s Degree, hands-on technical implementation experience at a university or college, strong knowledge of Oracle products used by Higher Education institutions, and a desire to become part of a Higher Education-focused team within Sierra-Cedar.Oracle Fusion Cloud or PeopleSoft certifications are a huge plus!

This position requires approximately 30% travel to client sites (nationwide) as well as remote work from your home office within the United States only – International locations will not be considered. This full-time role may include working occasional nights and weekends to support project milestones .
