We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Sales Representative with a strong background selling on premise and cloud broadcast production solutions. This individual will play a crucial role in promoting and successfully selling Alpha’s cutting-edge solutions and expertise to clients in the media sector including television broadcast, live media publishers, and post-production segments. If you have a passion for technology, a deep understanding of broadcast production systems – both on premise and cloud workflows - and a proven track record in sales, we want to hear from you.

Key Outcomes Year 1

  • Identify and build customer list and target accounts then employ the activities needed to put a strong sales pipeline place. 
  • Gain a deep understanding of Alpha’s story and our solutions in order to successfully showcase our offerings in a compelling way to prospects and customers.
  • Successfully learn and manage opportunities within our ERP system Q360 and HubSpot Sales Hub.
  • Gain an understanding of the landscape then develop and deploy sales plan to achieve quota and contribute to overarching company strategy and goals.
  • Ongoing monitoring, management, and analysis of market conditions and sales and marketing efforts.
Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect, identify, and engage potential customers who could benefit from Alpha’s on prem and cloud production solutions.
  • Grow Alpha’s cloud production presence within the market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing them with tailored solutions to enhance their production operations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and sales pitches to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to understand the intricacies of our products and services, ensuring accurate representation during client interactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to provide insights and suggestions for continuous improvement of our solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, develop sales strategies, and effectively negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management, providing visibility into the sales pipeline and overall performance.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, with a focus on selling on prem and cloud broadcast production technology solutions, equipment, software solutions, and services.
  • Extensive knowledge of broadcast production on prem and cloud systems, workflows, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of information technology, including networking, storage, and software applications commonly used in the media sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at various levels within client organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
  • 5+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience selling technology.
  • Experience with HubSpot Sales Hub.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

 

Other Requirements

  • Up to 15% travel for onsite-based/30% for remote-based
  • Occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to enter text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-Key.
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (that is, working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
  • Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech both in person, by telephone or other technology.
