Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Summaries:
  • The Presales Account Manager shall develop sales and go to market strategy for new business expansion. He should have the adequate technical presales skill to articulate lead the opportunity.
  • This role is responsible is to drive a pipeline opportunity from prospecting, pre-qualifying leads, setting discovery meeting, Technical Presentation, RFP/RFQ Response , following-up and commercial proposal up to order closure.
  • He/She require to have strong own customer network of decision maker or partner in order to increase the winning chance and early time to market
  • This role will also required to drive the technical discussion with the client to make the right solution was proposed and met the client expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Build a pipeline and customer account for short term (low hanging) and mid term
  • Support Network Sales to position into qualified lead and increase the opportunity chance to close. Prioritization for short and mid term opportunity in order to recognize the sales revenue
  • Ability to strategize the sale strategy based on the solution based on the priority of customer business operation.
  • Promote recuring business model with customer
  • Develop Business Expansion and go to market strategy for assigned countries and region together with the sales.
  • Order closure and meet the assigned target by the company
  • Support regional sales and business development to plan the implementation of business expansion for sustainable growth through maximizing recuring business.
  • Introduce new customer in key focus area. Drive pipeline growth through integrated promotional activities with the support from regional and global team
  • Drive the sale and pre-sale discussion with client, Solution Presentation and demonstration.
  • Understand customer needs and strategies the approach in agile manner and propose the right solution to meet customer business goals.
  • Understand the decision maker, winning strategy and competition. And position services to win the competition
  • Conduct discovery workshop with support from global team
  • Build relationship with end user, business partner such as SI/Supplier
  • Involve on technical and commercial Proposal to identify the scope, risk, T&C and pricing with the support from proposal/bid team.
  • Drive cross selling business with External as well as Yokogawa Business Partner. He/She will manage key information exchange between internally and IT partners on sales, technology and business update and vice versa.

Requirements
  • Must be a Japanese national
  • Strong sales experience and ability to drive the meeting and showcase the solution value to the customers.
  • Strong consultative approach when talking to customer and ability to identify the customer challenges and propose the right solutions
  • Familiar with concepts and practices in IoT/IIoT protocols and communication, Client Server Architecture and cloud-native.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate independently with various technical teams.
  • Over 3-year experience in the industrial or information technology industry, with abundant project management experience. Familiar with business modules such as Asset Performance Management , MES, Industrial IoT, Energy Management System, AI/ML related field
  • Familiar with presentation design tools and capable of creating impressive content efficiently
  • Proficient in industrial IoT, SaaS, cloud computing and other market ecology, and can train other business personnel on basic technical knowledge and market trend.
