Overview of Role

66degrees is seeking a passionate and strategic Research Lead to spearhead internal research efforts that empower our Solution Consulting Team. You will play a pivotal role in uncovering valuable market intelligence for defining solutions for clients, while also exploring the potential business impact of emerging technologies including AI for 66degrees' offerings.

Responsibilities

• Work with 66degrees pursuit teams to bring deep industry and domain context to the technical solutions
• Conduct in-depth research on client industries, their value chains, their competitive landscape and business objectives
• Define roadmap for client industry trends and how enabling technologies could create competitive advantage for the clients
• Work with Marketing team to create Points of Views on industry; Support and author papers on how 66degrees is solving complex business problems
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies relevant to 66degrees' products and services.
• Analyze industry use cases for new technologies like AI/ML, identifying potential applications and value propositions for 66degrees' solutions.
• Manage internal research requests from the Solution Consulting department, ensuring efficient turnaround and delivery of high-quality research materials.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in conducting market research, with a focus on industry intelligence.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, including industry reports, competitor websites, and market intelligence databases.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and data visualization tools.
• Strong ability to use spreadsheets for analytics; Preference for candidates who understand statistical concepts, hypothesis testing and design of experiments.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise language for a non-technical audience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A passion for technology and a strong understanding of emerging trends, particularly in AI/ML.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• An MBA from a Tier 1/2 college; Consulting or research background in Tier 1 consulting companies preferred.
