Job Brief
We are looking for a Product Designer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining incredible standards of UI and UX for GrowValley and our ventures’ products and services. They work closely with leadership and business teams build high-performance, intuitive, and dynamic interfaces and experiences for products.

Your Responsibilities
As our Product Designer, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand user requirements, business goals, and technical constraints
- Design and develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to refine and optimize the product design continually
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the seamless implementation of your designs, addressing any design-related issues that may arise during the development process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design, incorporating them into our products as appropriate
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including style guides and pattern libraries, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team
- Advocate for user-centred design principles and champion the needs of end-users throughout the product development process
- Mentor and support junior product designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Product Designer or a similar capacity with Startups or SMEs
- A bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or a related field; a relevant portfolio showcasing your work in product design is required
- Solid knowledge of product design principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with proficiency in tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or Hotjar
- Strong understanding of web standards, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and their impact on product design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly product designs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to diverse team members and stakeholders
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
