Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Google Ads Manager to join our dynamic digital marketing team. As a Google Ads Manager, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing Google Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic, increase brand visibility, and achieve client-specific marketing goals. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Google Ads, digital advertising trends, and data analysis, coupled with the ability to develop and execute effective advertising strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business goals and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive Google Ads strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to inform campaign planning.

Campaign Setup and Management:

  • Create and set up Google Ads campaigns, ad groups, and ad extensions.
  • Write compelling ad copy and design ad creatives that align with campaign goals.
  • Monitor and adjust campaign budgets, bid strategies, and targeting options for optimal performance.

Keyword Management:

  • Continuously refine and expand keyword lists to improve campaign relevance.
  • Employ negative keywords to filter out irrelevant traffic and reduce ad spend.

Ad Performance Optimization:

  • Conduct A/B testing of ad elements to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.
  • Implement ad schedule adjustments, device targeting, and location targeting to maximize results.
  • Regularly review and optimize landing pages for better ad quality scores.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly ad spend to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Adjust bidding strategies and allocation of funds to prioritize high-performing campaigns.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Generate and deliver regular reports on campaign performance, including key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve campaign performance.

Client Communication:

  • Maintain open and clear communication with clients to provide updates, answer queries, and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with clients to align campaign strategies with their evolving business goals.

Stay Informed on Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, Google Ads updates, and best practices.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and optimization.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Google Ads certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proven 5+ years experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of other digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO, social media advertising) is a plus.
