Job description

Travel agent, GDS Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus

Full time

Location: Portugal, Remote

Languages: French + English

Salary: To be discussed + Extra pay: nights (+25%), Sundays and public holidays worked (+50%)

Starting date: As soon as possible.

Description :

Daytime back-up service for travel agencies

Travel Management Company (TMC) and provides customers with dedicated or shared travel consultants.

Working hours (mainland France time) :

Weekdays from 6pm to 9.30am the following day.

Weekends and public holidays worked: French public holidays + certain Belgian, Swiss (canton of Geneva), Canadian (Quebec and Ontario regions), Monegasque and Spanish (Barcelona region) public holidays.

Duties:

Handling incoming and outgoing telephone, email and chat requests.

Provide information according to requests.

Booking, modifying and cancelling air, rail, hotel and car rental services via our client's GDS or BtoB sites.

Profile:

Business ticketing (GDS expertise)

This job requires a profile that is comfortable juggling several tools
Team spirit, empathy, diplomacy, flexibility and adaptability.

Reactive, autonomous, astute, rigorous and able to control stress to deal with emergency situations.
Yes At least 1 year's experience in business travel on the Amadeus GDS or at least 1 year's experience in travel on the Galileo GDS.
GDS: Amadeus / Sabre and Travelport (Galileo) = minimum 2 years' experience in business ticketing.

Good knowledge of B2B/C sites

Language: French / English: Advanced or bilingual
/ Spanish: Advanced or bilingual + German: Advanced or bilingual

Fluency with IT tools essential, autonomy and thoroughness.

Fixed-term contract, 1 year renewable - 40 hours "
