Job description

SCOPE OF ROLE 

The Supply Chain Program Manager I position plays a key role in the success of the Global Supply Chain Management team as we support Regal Rexnord’s aggressive growth goals with extensive new product development (NPD) and our Supply Chain Optimization initiatives. This position is responsible to coordinate and align the resources required to successfully achieve our corporate objectives, including the development of processes with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of our objectives.  The position will be responsible for driving detailed workflows to support such items as:  new product development, outsourcing, VA/VE projects, large supplier resourcing events, large cost-out initiatives, supplier crisis management, and acquisition integration. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Leverage a high level of project management skills for supply chain related to new product development, outsourcing, VA/VE, supplier resourcing, large cost-out initiatives, supplier crisis management and acquisition integration. 

  • Serve as the Supply Chain Champion and identify and secure cross-functional stakeholders to execute assigned projects on time. 

  • Act as liaison between Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other functions for the Supply Chain team on assigned projects, ensuring good communication, resources for conflict resolution 

  • Coordinate with key SCM global champions in Procurement & Supplier Quality to deliver a flawless and comprehensive plan transition of supply, selection and qualification of suppliers, supplier agreements, establish standards for quality, and other tasks as required for assigned projects. 

  • Establish robust communication strategies to report on program status, communicate critical issues to external and internal customers, offer solutions, and implement corrective actions. 

  • Demonstrate managerial courage and leadership to escalate program challenges promptly and find solutions with key stakeholders. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

  • BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.  MBA and or PMP certification are both a plus 

  • Minimum 7+ years of proven, progressive supply chain experience 

  • Ability to lead through influence 

  • Experience with large-scale project management across multiple functional teams 

  • Operations life cycle, in-depth analysis and problem solving 

  • Familiar with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, procedures 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, resolve problems and convert data into actionable solutions 

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, SAP or other ERP system 

  • Knowledge of lean tools and mindset to drive continuous improvement 

  • Up to 35% Domestic and International travel is required for this position
