Position: Senior Director Digital Marketing Performance

Location: Canada Remote

The Story:

Enspire for Enterprise is a digital marketing advertising agency that provides digital marketing solutions to franchise, multilocation and enterprise businesses.  We offer a full suite of digital marketing solutions and apply them based upon the unique needs of our clients. Our approach, combined with our business intelligence platform, ultimately allows our clients to unify, scale, and optimize their local and national marketing strategies.

The Position

We are looking for a digital marketing leader with strong leadership skills to direct the paid advertising and SEO teams to drive successful client campaigns with strong ROI for both our clients and the Enspire for Enterprise team. The successful hire will be the in-house expert, and will interface with clients to support service and sales objectives. Finally, the candidate will elevate and develop the overall skill set and productivity of the Enspire for Enterprise performance team.

Core responsibilities:

Oversee Client Program Performance and Strategy

  • Work with teams to analyze the performance of our top client’s advertising programs and adjust advertising programs to maximize the clients and Enspire’s return on investment.
  • Join internal calls and client calls to discuss market analysis, insights and performance reports and assist with managing client expectations.
  • Work with Performance Team and Client Services and Sales to increase total revenue from existing clients and new clients through increased efficiency and strong client performance.

Campaign Fulfillment

  • Oversee the efficacy and efficiency of the Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and SEO fulfillment teams.
  • Ensure Fulfillment Teams provide performance insights to internal stakeholders and customers that highlight the status of campaigns, insights, operating results against targets, drivers of variance and recommendations to improve the campaign and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure Fulfillment teams are using best practices and capabilities of various advertising platforms.
  • Manage workforce including hiring, developing, new employee onboarding, employee development planning, retention and productivity.
  • Support the development of team members for domain expertise, client management skills and analytics and reporting.

Product Performance Management

  • Manage profitability of PPC, SEO, Paid Social and Programmatic product lines to financial targets using customer rate card pricing, vendor management, and fulfillment levers.
  • Oversee the growth strategy of new and existing products and collaborate with sales channels to execute.
  • Ensure internal analytics and client facing analytics provide the insights to understand the performance of products and advertising programs.
  • Set the product package feature inclusions, standard reporting expectations and rate card by product line.

Key Vendor Management

  • Oversee the commercial relationship between key fulfillment suppliers/vendors to ensure performance and value exchange.
  • Leverage vendors capabilities (tools, processes, expertise etc), ensure vendors fulfill their commitments, inform and advocate for our needs with vendor product development roadmap all while minimizing total vendor cost. 

Required Skills and Experience (behavioral competencies, experiences, technical skills):

  • Expert in (Paid Search, Social, Display, SEO, copywriting) digital marketing with emphasis on optimization, pricing, fulfillment, data, analytics and reporting.
  • Previous advertising agency experience a must.
  • Strong ability to report on digital marketing KPIs including client ROI, leads, conversion rates, traffic and engagement.
  • Experience in proprietary bid management systems a plus (e.g. Acquisio, Simplifi)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain a successful team
  • Proficiency in web and digital marketing analytics applications, strong database skills
  • Experience evaluating online and offline marketing opportunity analyses and developing digital marketing program strategies and playbooks for customers in various industries.
  • Experience of working with MS Excel, SPSS, Tableau, QlikView, Microsoft Power BI, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Data Studio, Tableau, DOMO and/or other tools.
  • Experience with franchise and multilocation preferred.
  • Proven track record of strong technical and leadership experiences.
  • Strong ability to communicate with clients and internal stakeholder and help them use digital marketing to achieve their objectives.

Education and Certifications Requirements

  • 10+ years leading digital marketing optimization and campaign management teams.
  • Platform credentials and certifications, as appropriate
  • BA/BS degree/MBA preferred.
