The $30 Billion branded swag supply chain is a complete mess, filled with too many products, too many intermediaries, too little quality control, and not enough technology.

SwagUp is disrupting the industry by streamlining the end to end supply chain and making it available through a single platform utilizing powerful APIs and interfaces (e.g. dashboard). Role Overview: 2+ years of Swag Industry Experience Required.

We’re looking for master relationship builders! Through the SwagUp journey, we’ve come to realize, no matter how great your technology is, people buy from people. Account Executives at SwagUp are our eyes and ears on the ground, acquiring and expanding relationships with top customers by delivering an unmatched customer experience.

You will have the privilege of working with some of the top startups and corporations in the world, helping them fully leverage the power of swag through unmatched service, technology, and operational excellence. As an AE at SwagUp, there is endless opportunity to build your book of business and progress through the sales org. This is a high volume, high stakes role where every customer relationship counts and the difference in outcomes between mediocre and world class is massive.

We believe swag is incredibly impactful, but incredibly underutilized because of all of the friction involved in buying and distributing it. We are on a mission to Empower meaningful connections for organizations worldwide by simplifying branded merchandise management.

The best AEs are more akin to consultants than they are sales people. Great AEs are curious, they deeply understand their customer’s business in order to uncover problems that align with solutions they can provide. We win through partnership, not mindless pushing.

What we Expect:

  • Build the type of relationships with your customers that lead to wedding invites and weekend texts.
  • Navigate enterprises to build deep relationships across all teams, leveraging internal and external connections to drive growth.
  • Capture customer’s entire swag budget, while creating demand for net new spend through your expertise.
  • Ability to provide powerful solutions to customers by asking questions that uncover pain.
  • Understanding of internal and external technology and how it works together to provide value to customers.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to visit customers as needed to drive growth.
  • Ability to command a conference room full of buyers and communicate our value effectively.
  • Resilience to face discomfort and rejection in the pursuit of achievement.
  • Coordinate with multiple SwagUp team members to meet the needs of our customers and give yourself leverage.
  • Strive for 100% customer retention.
  • Willingness to run through walls for your customers.
  • Humility to do the dirty work when needed, this isn’t SaaS sales.


Top Candidates Have:

  • Demonstrable track record of building and expanding B2B accounts.
  • Experience selling swag/branded merchandise/physical products.
  • Top 10% performer in previous sales orgs.
  • History of winning in competitive settings, such as college sports.
  • Endless curiosity for business, startups, and selling.
  • A natural sense for creativity and design.
  • An insatiable desire to reach their full potential.
  • The hunger and ability to source pipeline when needed, even it means walking into random offices.
  • Experience with Salesforce and rigor for data integrity.
