Your missions

Control Risks is hiring for a GSOC Threat Monitoring Analyst to support a major technology client of ours. We are looking for a team of Analysts to help monitor and mitigate threats to the client's data center environment globally. This team will support a 24/7/365 function.

  • Serve as first point of contact for the client's Data Center program supporting a 24/7/365 security operations center environment.
  • Triage global incidents by collecting, analyzing, and assessing information based on requirements for the safety and security of of the client.
  • Issue timely awareness/advisory alerts to stay ahead of emerging threats. 
  • Conduct comprehensive threat and vulnerability risk assessments on the client's sites, regions and emerging markets. 
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge base of sources, including OSINT, social media, client databases, and archives, staying at the forefront of the latest information to provide actionable insights. 
  • Quickly verify real-time news, crafting concise and accurate business reports within minutes. Distribute these reports to key stakeholders to keep them informed and prepared. 

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or similar role working in the technology sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related areas of study preferred.
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly become expert in Seerist platform.
  • Ability to utilize social media and other open-source (OSINT) monitoring platforms to collect information for tactical intelligence purposes.
  • Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data and information and compile it into easily digestible, concise reporting.
  • Interest in researching and monitoring emerging trends in the tech world.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills, and ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-moving working environment
