The Senior Manager, Total Rewards is a trusted member of the People leadership team. You will be responsible for creating a holistic total rewards strategy aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. You will work closely with business leaders and People Partners to understand business strategy and design compensation and benefit programs that are competitive, provide best-in-class coverage, and attract and retain high-quality talent.

Job Responsibilities:

Compensation Strategy:

  • Analyze company’s existing total rewards strategy across all locations, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with People Partners and business leaders to ensure an equitable and competitive total rewards package across all locations and roles
  • Collaborate with People Partners and business leaders to develop compensation programs that effectively link rewards to individual and company performance to drive a pay-for-performance culture
  • Owner and driver of company compensation programs including annual merit review, salary bands, variable pay and other incentive programs to ensure alignment to company goals and budget
  • Manage executive compensation programs, including equity plans, in alignment with plan rules and regulatory requirements
  • Benchmarks and assesses total rewards competitiveness through salary and benefits survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development and incentive plan design
  • Advises leadership on applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations that impact benefits, compensation policies, to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Regularly evaluate toles to ensure proper regulatory classifications, job levels, and alignment with job catalog
  • Develop rewards and recognition that reinforce desired behaviors and drive employee engagement, retention, and productivity

Benefits Selection:

  • Oversee the management of global benefits programs, including health and wellness plans, retirement benefits, and other perks, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of local market benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, retirement plans (i.e. 401k), wellness, and other perks
  • Own relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to optimize the delivery of total rewards programs and services

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Establish, and maintain dashboards to measure rewards programs and ROI. Identify trends and provide advise on future direction of programs.
  • Key partner to Finance to provide rewards data and analytics as needed
  • Maintain pulse on trends affecting pay and benefits to identify how the company can improve rewards practices.
  • Expertise with HRIS Bob in creation of job catalogs, salary bands. Partner with People Operations to optimize Bob to facilitate implementation of Total Rewards Strategy.

Skills And Experience:

  • Significant experience (8+ years) in total rewards management, with a focus on driving transformational change
  • Advanced problem-solving, process improvement, and change management skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively around total rewards
  • Expert knowledge of compensation practices, including incentive design, market analysis, and pay equity and transparency requirements
  • Knowledge of legislation governing benefit plans (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, GDPR)
  • Expertise in leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance total rewards delivery and employee experience
  • Strong business and financial acumen to identify and implement cost-effective programs
  • Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required, as well as HRIS knowledge, preferably Bob
