LOOKING FOR FILIPINO CITIZENS BASED IN THE PHILIPPINES!!!

 

Position: 16897225015 - Buyer
Working Hours/Shift: M-F; flexible - with some overlap, EST
Salary Range: $ 800-1200 USD

Overview:

The Buyer will procure items for various departments and teams and liaise with suppliers considering multiple factors before placing orders.  The Buyer will also ensure that material supply is uninterrupted through inventory control, ordering procedures and maintaining delivery schedule(s).  

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Engage in negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms
  • Enter data, including inventory information on various software/programs/databases  
  • Create purchase orders in-line with pricing agreements and bills of material secured by the purchasing manager and other team leads
  • Stay current on delivery schedule(s) and proactively follow up on any changes and communicate updates to various stakeholders  
  • Assess the quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers  
  • Execute cycle count program and other inventory management programs  
  • Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous business improvement    
  • Reconcile packing slips to orders received and actively follow up on backorders
  • Process negotiate and monitor returns of overstock material
  • Analyze market trends and apply knowledge gained to make an insightful buying decision(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned  
  • Monitor Inventory Transactions

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient with Office 365/ MS based applications
  • Experience with construction based tools/applications is a huge advantage
