About the Role

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help build the backend systems that drive our tools and services.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain tools and publish them on the Tool Store.
• Create and maintain the infrastructure to run and execute the tools.
• Integrate Toolhouse with a billing system, ensuring all tool executions are logged and billed correctly.
• Create and iterate on the function descriptions for each tool using prompt engineering techniques.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience in building and maintaining tools and backend infrastructure.
• Experience working with LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI)
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience integrating systems with billing platforms.
• Ability to create clear and efficient function descriptions for tools.
• Familiarity with FastAPI for API development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Advanced English level.
