Position : ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/CONTROLLER

Work Hours : 8AM - 5PM EST

Holidays : TBD

Pay Range : USD 1200 - 1800 per month

Company Overview: Real Estate Investment and Property Management firm based in the US.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Enter bills using QuickBooks and AppFolio property management software: Input invoices and bills accurately into QuickBooks and AppFolio.
Handle various bills and ensure accurate processing: Manage different types of bills to ensure precise processing and compliance.
Manage journal entries and maintain accurate records: Record financial transactions and maintain accurate journal entries.
Possess a fundamental understanding of Accounting principles: Apply basic accounting principles to daily tasks and financial reporting.

Requirements

Must have 3 to 7 years of relevant experience: Demonstrated experience in accounting roles, with a focus on accounts payable, preferably within real estate or property management sectors.
Knowledge equivalent to CFA level accounting: Advanced understanding of accounting principles and practices, comparable to Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level.
Experience with real estate transactions and familiarity with HUD agreements: Proven track record in handling financial transactions related to real estate, including familiarity with HUD agreements.
Understanding of Yardie property management software: Proficiency in utilizing Yardie property management software for financial management and reporting.
Proficient in Excel, including advanced functionalities: Strong Excel skills including data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling with advanced features.
Knowledge of waterfall investments: Familiarity with waterfall investment structures and their impact on financial reporting.
Ability to pay out investor distributions based on waterfall promotes: Experience in executing distributions to investors based on predefined waterfall distribution models.
Proficiency in QuickBooks: Advanced skills in QuickBooks for managing accounts payable and financial transactions efficiently.
