About the role 

We are on the look out of a Remote Finnish LQA - Game Tester for full-time, part-time, or freelance basis. As Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the very first person to see the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images and the rest of the user interface collectively. You’ll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by the end users. You will work in a multilingual project team ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies and ultimately ensuring that the game is accurately localized into the target language. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with a global project team. 
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors. 
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines. 
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions. 
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery. 
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters. 
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation. 
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects. 

Our Localization QA team performs language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR and various mobile and tablet devices. As an Indonesian LQA Game Tester, you would be working on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers. 

Requirements 

• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for. 
• Computer literacy – particularly with Excel. 
• Robust Internet research skills. 
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams. 
• You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.

• €15,946.00 gross annual salary (Full Time). Part-time and freelance rates are pro-rata based on the hourly rate.
• € 6 per working day in meal allowance (For full-time and pro-rate for part-time employees).

Working Condition: 

• Work flexibility: This position is available on full-time, part-time, or freelance.
• For part-time and freelance, you will be required to work between 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays (Portugal Time Zone)

Remote Work

• Only Freelancers are allowed to work remotely. Full-time and part-time employment contract are required to work on-site in Braga, Portugal.
