The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Franchise Marketing Manager. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between internal marketing resources and the franchise community and are charged with ensuring franchisees are equipped with and educated on marketing programs and resources available to them. As we accelerate franchise growth, this role plays a critical part in ensuring our franchisees are delivering on KPIs (key performance indicators). You will work collaboratively with internal Valvoline departments, franchise leaders, and internal stakeholders to identify the support, platforms, and programs needed to achieve success.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Lead cross-functional teams to roll out new marketing programs/initiatives, new vendors, and new tools to franchisees.
- Evaluate franchise program participation and performance; drive improvement on KPIs.
- Develop relationships with franchisees, engaging with them to improve their business performance.
- Manage MAC (Marketing Advisory Council) communication and engagement.
- Serve as the liaison between the franchise community and VIOC (Valvoline Instant Oil Change) marketing leadership to bring valuable insights and feedback that will assist in ensuring programs and initiatives are delivering anticipated results.
- Craft program enrollment structure for franchisees and work to increase efficiencies for franchisees to engage in marketing programs on an ongoing basis.
- Serve as a continual feedback loop between the internal team and franchisees to ensure best practices are being shared between both groups.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience (experience working with franchisees preferred)
- Retail/restaurant experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
