What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Developer at Resolver is involved with key areas of the development process; research, design, programming, and testing of our software technology in order to enable and support short and long term business goals. You'll do this by:
Programming 75%
Measures of Success: clean and efficient code, ability to stay within scope/specifications, on-time delivery of applications
- Develops new user-facing features, from the database all the way up to the browser
- Identifies issues up front and remediates them quickly and efficiently; rarely anything more than minor mistakes.
- Helps junior team members identify and remediate their issues
- Actively participate in prioritization with Product and the team
- Proficient at performing peer code review and providing succinct and relevant feedback in this area. Knows what feedback is worth providing, and what is just noise.
- Optimizes applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Writing and maintaining database schema, queries and procedures
- Solution, Implement and Maintain Cloud Systems and Infrastructure
Testing 20%
Measures of Success: delivery of quality code that meets acceptance criteria
- Works with the team to develop software solutions through analyzing needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and investigating problem areas
- Fixes bugs in new and existing code
- Builds reusable and fully tested (unit tests) code
Documentation 5%
- Creates and maintains documentation that helps others understand what the software does, how it does it, and how to use it.
What you will bring
- 5 + years experience Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 5 + years experience Backend (NodeJs, Golang)
- 5 + years experience Front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
- 5 + years experience optimizing relational databases
- Experience maintaining security of a code base
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to engage and help other team members learn
- A passion for solving hard problems and delivering extraordinary software to customers
