ERM is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Account Manager to join our team in Germany.

Role Summary:
As an Account Manager for the Energy Transition at ERM, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainable energy solutions for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in the power sector to manage and grow client relationships, ensuring the delivery of innovative and effective sustainability solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the energy transition landscape in Germany, especially Transmission and Distribution, as well as excellent client management skills, and a passion for sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the power sector, focusing on transmission and distribution, renewable energy, power, and other energy transition initiatives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand ERM's footprint in the energy transition market
- Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability challenges and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs
- Coordinate with ERM’s global team of experts to deliver high-quality consulting services, ensuring client satisfaction and project success
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments in the energy transition space to provide clients with up-to-date advice and insights
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to clients
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Represent ERM at industry conferences, seminars, and other events to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in the energy transition sector
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in account management, business development, or consulting within the energy sector, with a focus on transmission and distribution
- In-depth knowledge of the energy transition landscape in Germany, including renewable energy technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market trends
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering successful projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multidisciplinary team environment
- Fluency in German and English is required
