The Role:

As a Compensation Specialist at Podium, you will collaborate with sales, revenue operations, human resources, and data science teams to implement commission payouts that drive our company's growth. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately calculate and communicate variable compensation for our global sales and customer success teams on a monthly basis.

In our dynamic SaaS environment, company initiatives and variable compensation plans evolve rapidly. You will play a crucial role in adapting compensation models to align with these changes, ensuring our compensation strategies support and mirror the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze large data sets to calculate accurate monthly and quarterly sales commissions for 200+ personnel.
  • Partner with sales leadership to understand and implement commission plan changes and ensure they are properly documented.
  • Communicate insights to various stakeholders within the company in a clear and concise manner.
  • Audit data sets to identify inconsistencies and ensure commission calculation accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to sales representatives' inquiries regarding commission calculations, structures, and payouts. Provide clear explanations and resolve any disputes or misunderstandings about commission earnings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, economics, or a related field OR 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates an ownership mentality, proactively proposing innovative solutions to effectively resolve problems.
  • Proactive communication skills to effectively prioritize projects in partnership with the team and provide updates on the status of outstanding deliverables.
  • Analytical mindset to audit large datasets and identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational skills to document and track all projects in workflow.
  • Proficient in using analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, G-Sheets, data visualization software).
  • Excellent time management skills to meet simultaneous deadlines.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Must be geographically based in the Manila Metro Area, Philippines.
